Simple terms for a careful service.

1. The service

Homework is operated by Rudraayaan AI Technologies Private Limited (“we”). It offers free sample lessons that anyone can try without an account, and a verification process that lets recognised schools in India get access to school features. The service is in pre-launch. Features may change or pause, and it is provided “as is”.

2. Sample lessons

Lessons are general practice material. They don’t replace a teacher or your school’s own instructions. Finishing a practice lesson is not the same as finishing homework. Only a school’s authorised teacher can confirm schoolwork.

3. Who may apply for a school

Only a person authorised to represent a school in India may apply, for example its principal, head, manager or another officer with written authority. By applying, you confirm that you have that authority and that what you submit is true, current and complete.

4. Verification

• We check each application against official sources: State/UT recognition or establishment orders, board affiliation records and your authority to act. Filing an application, uploading a certificate, having a matching email domain or a UDISE+ code, or connecting an assistant never grants access by itself.
• We may ask for more information, decline, or later suspend or end verification. This can happen if evidence expires, is withdrawn or turns out to be inaccurate, or if your authority changes. Access ends automatically on the verification end date.
• Verification means we found the evidence you gave us consistent with official records on the date we checked. It is not a government recognition, an endorsement or a guarantee about the school.

5. What you must not upload or enter

Do not upload or enter information about parents or pupils. Do not upload malware, forged documents or anything you have no right to share. Files are scanned, and files that fail the scan are never served.

6. Staff accounts and assistant tokens

You are responsible for your mobile number and for anyone you give staff access to. School administrators must remove staff who leave. Assistant access tokens act as you. Keep them secret and revoke any token you no longer use. We may revoke access that looks compromised.

6A. Classes, homework and parent QR codes

Only a class’s own teacher can post its homework and create its parent QR code. Share a QR code only with the parents of that class, and replace it if it reaches anyone else. Never put pupils’ or parents’ names, phone numbers or other personal details in homework. Drivers are added only for the school bus app and have no access to classes or homework. A school can have as many active classes as it has paid for; when payment lapses, classes become read-only and their QR pages close.

6B. Fees and payments

Verified schools pay per class: ₹200 + 18% GST per class per month, or 12 months less 15% plus GST when paid yearly, as shown on the pricing page. Payments are made through Razorpay and do not renew automatically. Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy, and delivery our delivery policy. If a school's verification ends or is suspended, its workspace closes even if paid time remains; a period not yet started is refunded on request.

7. Acceptable use

Do not try to access another school’s data or bypass sign-in or verification. Do not overload the service, scrape it, or probe it without written permission. We log access decisions and may suspend accounts that break these terms.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions schools make using the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous twelve months, which for this free pre-launch service is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
